Things to do in Tampa!
These are a few places I would definitely add to your next trip to Tampa! Or fun things to check out if you live near Tampa!
✨ Channelside: this is my absolute favorite area of downtown Tampa. It’s directly next to the Arena. My favorite spots here are The Edition, Yardhouse, &Industrious!! If you’ve never been, my recommended itinerary is park behind Yard house (or take an Uber to it) and either get lunch there, or at The Edition. Go to the Edition if you’re bringing someone and want to impress. It’s absolutely beautiful and they have multiple amazing restaurants with different vibes so look up the menus before hand and pick your favorite. Then walk over to Industrious and walk around, stop in anywhere that you like, maybe get a coffee or ice cream and chill in the park. Then you can talk a walk down riverwalk and back. Then for dinner, go to the Edition again but pick a different restaurant if you went for lunch. And finish with drinks at the pool bar! (It’s beautiful)
✨ Egmont Key: This is an island so you either need to rent a boat or find a ferry. ITS WORTH IT!! I prefer to rent a boat for the day because I have a friend with a boating license so if you have the option, I highly recommend going with that option. When you get to the island, of course enjoy the private beaches because they are absolutely beautiful. But the best part is finding a path into the abandon city. If you are interested and want more info I will give it to you but I don’t want to give away too much because I feel like this hidden gem needs to be discovered semi blindly!
✨ Busch Gardens: if you live in or near Tampa then you’ve probably been here. But if not, it’s an absolute must go! They have tons of animals along with rollercoasters, shopping, wine shops, and concerts! If you’re interested in coming, I highly recommend planning for a day that has a concert you want to go to. Go on rides, see all the animals, and then get drinks and hang out in the park and wait for the concert!! Such a fun day. If you aren’t extremely set on getting on ALL the rides, this will be a super fun day for you. BUT if you do care about going on all the rides, do NOT come on a concert day. Try to come on a weekday or an off season with no other events for the best chance at slow lines. Concert days are usually the busiest.

Renting a boat gives visitors the opportunity to explore this hidden gem at their own pace, ensuring an unforgettable escape from the bustling city life.
