... Read moreMy visit to Saint Pablo Restaurant in Accra was truly a standout moment during my unforgettable trip to Ghana. Beyond just the incredible food and service I mentioned, there's so much more to love about this place that makes it a must-visit for anyone traveling to the city. From the moment I arrived, the ambiance just captivated me. The elegant dark slatted wall with that striking gold 'SAINT PABLO' sign immediately told me I was in for an upscale experience. I even took a moment to snap a photo in my lime green outfit against it – it's just that picturesque! The outdoor setting, with its grand columns and statues, adds a touch of sophisticated charm, making it perfect for a special dinner or even a relaxed, stylish lunch. You can truly feel the thought that went into creating such a beautiful space. While my lobster was an absolute dream and surprisingly affordable at $25 USD, I saw so many other tantalizing dishes being served that looked equally amazing. Their menu boasts a fantastic selection of fresh seafood, from grilled fish to succulent prawns, all prepared with an exquisite touch. It's clear they prioritize fresh, high-quality ingredients, which truly shines through in every bite. If you're a seafood lover, you'll be in paradise here! For those planning a visit, I'd highly recommend making a reservation, especially if you're going during peak dinner hours or on a weekend. Saint Pablo can get quite busy, and you don't want to miss out! It’s located in a convenient part of Accra, making it fairly easy to get to. While the restaurant offers a refined dining experience, the dress code is smart casual – so you can feel comfortable yet stylish. It’s also a great spot for taking photos, as the unique decor and lighting make for stunning backdrops! And while Saint Pablo offers a more international, upscale seafood experience, don't forget to explore Ghana's incredible local food scene too! You absolutely have to try fufu with a delicious soup – it's a staple for a reason. Many local spots and even some upscale hotels around Accra, like Kempinski, offer fantastic authentic Ghanaian dishes that provide a completely different but equally rewarding culinary adventure. But for that special seafood treat, Saint Pablo is definitely the place to be!
