Trusting God’s Plan

Hey Christian Bestie’s!! I’m going to be completely honest. I found myself not trusting God in one area of my life. Yeah, I know. But then I immediately repented when I read Proverbs 3:5 where it says trust in the Lord with all your heart. It doesn’t say trust the Lord some of the time. The scripture clearly says with all your heart.

If you feel like you’re not able to trust the Lord, I encourage you to read these scriptures over your life. Trust Him, because He knows the full story. He knows what’s best!!

... Read moreHey again, my dear Christian besties! Following up on my last share about learning to truly lean on God, I wanted to dive a little deeper into what that actually looks like, especially when life throws curveballs and our own plans get derailed. It’s one thing to say 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart' (Proverbs 3:5), but how do we actually live that out when our hearts are racing with anxiety or disappointment? One of the hardest times to trust God is 'when plans change'. I know I’ve been there. You have a clear vision, a detailed strategy, and then suddenly, everything shifts. It feels like God has 'different plans' than what you envisioned. In those moments, it’s so easy to feel lost or even angry. But this is exactly where faith truly grows. Remember that powerful verse, 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future' (Jeremiah 29:11). This isn't just a 'god saying'; it's a promise! It reminds us that even when 'we plan but God decides', His decisions are always rooted in love and for our ultimate good. I've found immense comfort in meditating on scriptures beyond just Proverbs 3:5. The idea of the 'Daily Scriptures To Meditate on!' in my mind has become a real practice. For instance, 'Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock' (Isaiah 26:4) from one of my daily devotionals truly grounds me. It reminds me that His character is unchanging, a steady foundation when everything else feels shaky. And when I feel weak, 'The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust Him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy' (Psalm 28:7) becomes my prayer. It's a beautiful declaration that 'trusting God's process' isn't just about enduring, but about finding joy even within the uncertainty because He is our help. So, how do we practically 'trust god everything will work out'? For me, it starts with consistent prayer and giving my worries to Him. I also love to keep 'trust god's plan wallpaper' reminders on my phone or sticky notes around my desk. Seeing 'have faith in God's plan' or a verse like Jeremiah 29:11 visually throughout my day helps reset my focus. It’s like a gentle nudge back to His truth. It's about surrendering our will and truly believing that 'if it's God's will', it will happen, and it will be better than anything we could have imagined. It’s a daily choice to surrender control and embrace His perfect timing. Don't be afraid to voice your doubts to Him, just as I did. He meets us right where we are. Keep seeking those 'bible verses about trusting in God's plan' and let them saturate your heart. You're not alone on this journey, and together, we can lean into the beautiful, sometimes mysterious, tapestry of God's perfect plan for our lives.
