letters of enchantment duology

NO SPOILERS here

This was nowhere near the feels that book one gave me, and Divine Rivals was a 5 star read for me.

Divine Rivals was heavily on the romance and Ruthless Vows was more on the fantasy side.

I still enjoyed Ruthless Vows, it’s probably my fault for expecting more of that intense romantic feel and emotion the way Divine Rivals was. I think I would have loved it as much if I didn’t expect so much, because I am someone who enjoys a lot of fantasy with the romance being the subplot.

The ending made me sad, but happy too. It’s a happily ever after, but the one thing that happened in this book was very sad, I cried.
