devastated!

‎NO SPOILERS

If you read Powerless, then you know what happens to Adena in the end. But this novella makes it so much worse.

I didn’t expect to love Adena’s character. She’s witty, full of sunshine. She’s so innocent and pure; she deserved better.

And Mak too.. It really sucked to read his pov towards the ending. It was so f*cking unfair! It hurt!

Last few chapters were so hard to read. I already knew what was gonna happen, but it being in her pov—I was devastated!

I finished this book late at night—bad idea bc I couldn’t sleep after that. That Reckless sneak peek was on my mind all night long! I need that book already 😩

Also, that purple thread on this book cover.. ugh! 💔
