I read, finished, and rated 29 books this month. Paperbacks, ebooks, and audiobooks. I believe this is the first time I read this much physical books in a month.
Ever since the Spring season started, I’ve been into more contemporary romance than fantasy, and as of lately, I’ve had the sudden urge for more fantasy. So I feel at home because of that. I started out as a contemporary romance reader, but romantasy is my all-time favorite genre.
In June, I experienced a diverse reading adventure, finishing 29 books spanning various formats including paperbacks, ebooks, and audiobooks. This high volume marks a significant first for me in terms of physical reading. My interests have shifted throughout the year, particularly with the onset of spring, where I gravitated toward contemporary romance. Recently, however, I've found a renewed enthusiasm for fantasy, blending my love for both genres—known as romantasy. I explored captivating titles such as "Prisoner of Azkaban" and other enchanting reads that broadened my literary horizons. I also rated these books, achieving an average rating of 3.9. Through this journey, I embraced various moods in storytelling—from lighthearted and funny to adventurous and inspiring. The evolving trends in my reading habits reflect my personal growth and shifting emotional landscape, exemplifying how literature can deeply resonate with our life experiences.
