This was such a fun read! I went in without reading the blurb and had no idea what the tropes were, so it was even better when one of the tropes took me by surprise in the best way!
I really appreciated the emotional depth. After years of being put down, Gwen finally has someone like Bash, who lifted her up without even trying. Their meet-cute was such a joy—it was charming and so fun. I found it was incredibly sweet how well they knew each other from that first encounter, the chemistry was definitely there.
And then there’s Clyde. He stole every single scene he was in. He was hilarious, meddlesome in the most entertaining way, and just added this extra spark. He gave me so many laugh-out-loud moments, and I loved him for it!
