This was an emotional and cozy read. The angst from Blaire and the yearning from Colt were hands down my favorite. They balanced each other so well!

This is your classic cowboy, second-chance romance. Blaire returns to her small-town after being away for ten years. And, true to myself, I went in blind… so of course, one of the tropes got me good (the single dad trope). Ruby, the sweet little girl, was pure sunshine throughout this story. She stole both Blaire’s heart and mine.

In the end, it wasn’t just about Colt and Blaire finding their way back to each other; it was about family, whether by blood or by choice, about forgiveness, and a love that refuses to fade. I am in need of the next book, my guess is Hunter’s up next (please, Holly, let it be)!
