I can’t believe this series has come to an end. The plot was an emotional ride. Emmett and Cara’s struggles were devastating, yet their journey held so much warmth. The spice and sheer ridiculousness made up for it, but I still found myself needing to take breaks.
Emmett standing by Cara through it all gets me every time. This man was unbelievably swoon-worthy, and every emotion he felt hit just as hard as his wife, Cara. My beautiful Cara… I love her so much. She exudes a f*ck ton of confidence, so watching her lose herself completely broke my heart. I love these two as a couple. Their strength and the way they just get each other wrecks me.
The found family dynamic was everything as always! They’re ridiculous, chaotic, and downright hilarious—I love them to death. The emotional impact within this group never fails. I’ve adored Cara and Olivia’s friendship since the first book, but in this final installment, it showed just how solid their bond is. Already, I miss this family!
