I finally read it and I’m obsessed! The whole time I’m wondering why it took me forever to pick it up. Honestly, the book covers were the reason for me, I was totally judging them, especially the KU ones. But this series was all for the plot, so don’t let those covers fool you. It’s not spice-heavy; the romance is actually sweet, but the story is dark and gory, so read responsibly. It had me giggling, laughing out loud, raging, heartbroken, crying—you name it!
Lana is such a badass FMC, and with her brilliant mastermind bestie, Jake, the two of them are unstoppable! Books 4 and 5 were my favorites! So many details unraveled and secrets came to light. The angst was unreal (I LOVED IT)! I was especially obsessed with Leonard’s hypothetical theories, they were insanely fascinating to me. I could honestly listen to his theories all day. He was actually really funny too.
