I’ve been on a dystopian high lately and I’m absolutely loving this series. After the way book two ended (I’m not okay), I desperately need book three! I’m not usually a fan of the prisoner × guard dynamic, but Khalani and Takeshi really grew on me.
In book two, we got to explore new places and meet new people. The banter, not only between the main characters but with the others in the group, was fun, and the found family was wonderful too!
