My gosh! This series is so underrated! Granted, Sorcha is an indie author, an amazing one at that. I haven’t felt this way about a romantasy series in a good while. The books just kept getting better and better as I went on (trust the process)! I swear, that war had me so stressed out. I was on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the plot so much too!

The pacing was perfect, the characters were lovable and emotionally layered, and the story was so engaging. There are missions, scheming, politics, and unraveling secrets. I couldn’t stop reading. I want more!

I absolutely loved Caden and Emma together. Their romance was so angsty, heart-stopping, beautiful, and devastating. The push Emma gives was so understandable, and Caden’s pull was irresistibly sweet. The ending of the book broke my heart.

And James… wow. I’m so ready to read more from his POV, because what was that with you-know-who?! I’m already loving them!

I need book four! I want it!

As a dedicated fan of romantasy, I can say that Sorcha Reagh's Scarlet Wars stands out for its perfect blend of fantasy, romance, and suspense. What I found especially compelling was how the author balanced complex political intrigue with deeply personal character development. The pacing held my attention throughout, with missions and secrets gradually unfolding, making the reading experience immersive. Caden and Emma’s relationship captured my heart from start to finish. Their dynamic is a masterclass in angsty romance—the push and pull between their personalities felt genuine and emotionally charged. It’s rare to find such chemistry that mixes sweetness with heartache so seamlessly. The ending left me both devastated and eager for more. I was also intrigued by James’s character, whose point of view I'm excited to explore in the next installment. The way the story teased his perspective and the mystery around "you-know-who" added layers of suspense. From my experience, this series deserves more recognition among romantasy readers. It offers not just entertainment but a strong emotional connection and thoughtful storytelling. If you enjoy stories with political intrigue, layered characters, and romantic tension, Scarlet Wars is a must-read. I highly recommend following this series and preparing for the release of book four!
