Garden of the gods 💥BEWARE💥
I had the chance to visit this beautiful city park in Colorado Springs. My sister and I stopped at parking lot 7 and parking lot 13. And drove through the park 2 times. Buttttt beware. My sisters car was broken into and we lost over 500$ of things from Scheels. When talking to the police, this park has break ins every day. Please please be aware out there friends! Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods is renowned for its breathtaking red rock formations and natural beauty, attracting visitors from across the globe seeking hiking, photography, and outdoor adventure. However, visitors should also be aware of safety concerns, particularly regarding vehicle break-ins reported in the park. Several parking areas, including parking lots 7 and 13, have been noted for incidents of theft. Visitors are strongly advised to never leave valuables visible inside their vehicles. Stashing items in the trunk or taking them along can reduce the risk of break-ins. It’s also a good idea to park in well-lit, busier areas of the park when possible and report any suspicious activity to park rangers or local police immediately. While police presence is regular, vigilance remains the best defense. Aside from safety, Garden of the Gods offers several trails suitable for all fitness levels, scenic overlooks, and guided tours that provide historical and geological insights. Planning your visit during daylight hours and staying aware of your environment will help you make the most of this extraordinary natural landmark. Remember that preparation and caution can enhance your experience and ensure that you enjoy the park’s remarkable features without unfortunate incidents.
