He wants to go out while our baby’s sick

Our 3-year-old has pneumonia. We’ve barely slept, I’ve been up doing meds, sponge baths, and holding him when he coughs.

Last night my husband said he “needs a break” and wants to go out with his friends this weekend. I get that he’s tired too we both are but it honestly hurt that his idea of a break is leaving while our baby’s still sick.

He says I’m being dramatic and that one night out doesn’t make him a bad dad. But I can’t shake the feeling that this isn’t the time.
