I want people to SEE JESUS NOT me when they see me

From my own experience, it's not always easy to keep the focus on Christ instead of myself, but it’s deeply rewarding. One practice that helped me was daily meditation on scriptures that emphasize Jesus’ love and servant leadership, such as Philippians 2:3–5 and John 13:34. I also found that actively serving others, especially in small, everyday ways, became a practical way to mirror Jesus’ character. Whether it was offering a listening ear, showing kindness to strangers, or being patient with loved ones, these acts made my faith visible without calling attention to myself. Another important aspect is authenticity. People see the genuine faith more than empty words. When I admitted my struggles and relied on God openly, my relationships were strengthened, and the presence of Jesus was evident through my transformation. This approach—letting Jesus shine through us—can inspire others and deepen our own spiritual growth. It reminds me that our journey is about reflecting God’s grace and love so powerfully that people see Him first and foremost, not the person they encounter.
