Today I was speaking to a lady regarding my work (I helped her connect with her son in spirit sometime ago now, a cold case) she asked me an honest question, Amanda do you sometimes get it wrong? As meticulous as I am with my work yes indeed I sometimes get it wrong.
People can become really hard on us mediums for getting it wrong and it doesn’t fly with me. Not one bit. As a medium and paranormal researcher we are pushed (to a certain degree) to resolve all cases that come before us. Sadly a small minority of people (the living) think we are magical beings. We as mediums are only human with an extra kick in our senses, sometimes I’m 100% correct, other times I’m 100% wrong. To solve all crimes and all cases that come before us as mediums would be amazing, but hey, it’s just not humanly possible.
People forget, Mediums are human beings who are doing extraordinary work with the afterlife, (we know a small thumbnail of information compared to a never ending universe) so yes, you can understand why the medium can become a little muddled and our senses fail us at times.
Sometimes entertaining spirits/entities on the other side is not as simple as people may think. We have cross connections with spirits and other entities who most certainly do not want crimes solved. They may indeed give us the incorrect information, mentally and verbally through my ITC/EVP sessions. It doesn’t happen often with me but sadly it does happen. When you do Gods work (light work) they (spirit) know whats up and so do lower astral entities and the demonic. And when I say they’ll do everything in their power to stop your work, they will try everything and thats important to remember.
When it comes to ITC/EVP work and mediumship we have to be so careful who we are entertaining on the other end/the otherside.
I’ve been tricked several times in my long career with my cases and as a medium, and I put it all down to experience and apart of life. It has helped me by making my prayer life stronger and relying on my own intuition and gut instincts. I listen more to my guardians and those who guide me with spirit and our communication.
Learning and being more alert on each session that we do makes us better mediums and readers. It also teaches us valuable lessons in life that keeps us trying to better our work and our results in afterlife research.
I have said this statement previously, experience comes with time and mistakes are a never ending cycle of lessons, letting us know that we are in fact only human’s doing an extraordinary job of finding proof of life after death, and of course most importantly closure for spirits loved ones left behind.
Sadly we experience some hiccups on our journey with spirit and that’s ok….
