Purchasing my first rideable horse at 40 years old
2024 has been quite a journey from adopting 3 senior horses, building my first horse barn and learning all the in’s and out’s of horse ownership on my own. I would never guess that I would ever be a horse owner in my 40’s but it’s been the most rewarding journey and I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings. I bought Bo after watching him for a month in an online auction. My three senior horses are too old to ride so Bo is my first rideable horse! I’m working on getting my first saddle and riding gear so that I can take him out for my first ride. 🤍#horses #newhorse #newhobbies #over40 #horsegirls Illinois
