If you're planning a visit, here are some extra tips from my own experience to make sure you get the most out of this incredible installation. First off, I highly recommend booking your tickets online in advance, especially if you're going on a weekend or during peak tourist season. This place gets popular, and you don't want to miss out on exploring all the amazing exhibits. The pink-themed exterior is iconic, and you'll want to capture photos even before you step inside! Once inside, prepare for a sensory overload in the best way possible. Each of the five themed rooms offers something unique. The Airline Ice Cream Room truly felt like a whimsical journey, and the orangey drink was such a delightful touch before taking flight to the next experience. Don't forget to put on the headphones in the Sensory Summer Ice Cream Room – the beach sounds really transport you! And for those who love a bit of friendly competition, the Carnival Ice Cream Room with its games like bean bag tosses and mini golf is super fun. I loved seeing all the facts about ice cream history and different types from around the world in the Frosty Cabinet Room, with its walls of pink mini-refrigerators; it’s a cool educational moment amidst all the fun. Of course, the highlight for many, including me, is the famous pink sprinkle pool! It's even more magical in person. Seriously, wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting a little 'sprinkly' in, because you'll want to dive right in for those iconic photos. The walls are often adorned with official 'MUSEUM OF ICE CREAM' signage, perfect for your Instagram feed. My favorite moment was definitely relaxing in the sprinkle pool after sliding down that giant swirly slide. Before you leave, make sure to grab a delicious treat at Ducky's Diners. I tried a classic ice cream sundae topped with red sprinkles, and it was the perfect end to the experience. The pink and brown checkered diner aesthetic is also super cute for photos! You can sit at a booth, just like in the images, and enjoy your ice cream on a game placemat. And don't forget to check out the gift shop for unique souvenirs like ice cream shirts or magnets to remember your visit. This isn't just a museum; it's an interactive adventure. It's truly one of the most innovative and fun things to do in Miami, especially if you're looking for something beyond the usual beaches and art galleries. It’s located in a vibrant area, making it a great addition to your art district Miami itinerary. Whether you're a local or just exploring Florida, the Museum of Ice Cream Miami offers a sweet escape that's worth every penny.
