Mommy Mocktail Drink!
I adore my mommy mocktails! This one is one of my favs!
💧Water bottle with aldi coconut hydration packet! I usually use half the bottle but if I don't use ice, I use the whole thing!
🥥 Coconut water is great at hydration = good breast milk supply
🍍 I love the flavor of pineapple juice! It also helps cancel out the taste of the coconut water!
🍋 This helps to make it "bubbly" as I say! Who doesn't love carbonation!
🧂 I take a pinch and put it on my tongue. I let it sit there as long as possible to absorb the minerals and then chase it with my mocktail!

As a breastfeeding mama, I quickly learned that staying hydrated isn't just important – it's absolutely crucial for maintaining a healthy milk supply! Water alone is great, but sometimes you need a little something extra, something that tastes delicious and offers added benefits. That's exactly why I fell in love with this coconut water and pineapple juice mocktail. Let's dive a bit deeper into why these two ingredients are such a powerhouse for nursing moms. First, coconut water isn't just trendy; it's packed with natural electrolytes like potassium, sodium, and magnesium. These are essential for replenishing what your body loses, especially when you're producing milk. Think of it as nature's sports drink, but without all the artificial stuff. Staying well-hydrated with electrolytes helps your body function optimally, which directly supports your milk production. I've personally noticed a difference in my energy levels and how full I feel when I consistently sip on electrolyte-rich drinks like this throughout the day. For convenience, I often use those Aldi Pur Aqua Blue Raspberry coconut hydration mix sticks, but a good quality Vita Coco is always a winner too! Then there's pineapple juice. Beyond its deliciously tangy flavor that perfectly balances out the coconut, pineapple is a great source of Vitamin C and other antioxidants. While it won't directly boost your milk supply, a healthy mama is better equipped to produce milk. Plus, sometimes, the sheer enjoyment of a tasty drink can be a huge mood booster, and happy hormones certainly help with milk flow! I usually grab Great Value Pineapple Juice for its consistent taste and affordability. The bit of citrus, like a squeeze of lemon or a splash of Sprite, not only adds that fun 'bubbly' kick but also a little extra Vitamin C, which is always a bonus. And let's not forget the pinch of salt! I know it sounds a bit unconventional, but a tiny bit of high-quality salt, like Selina Naturally Celtic Sea Salt, placed on the tongue can provide trace minerals that are often missing from our diets. These minerals work alongside the electrolytes in coconut water to ensure your body is absorbing and utilizing fluids efficiently. It’s a small step that makes a big difference in how I feel overall. Making this mocktail isn't just about the ingredients; it's about creating a little ritual of self-care. It's so easy to whip up before a pumping session or just to have on hand during those long nursing marathons. You can even customize it – add a few fresh mint leaves, a slice of lime, or even a splash of ginger ale for an extra zing. It's a simple, tropical escape in a glass that helps keep you hydrated, nourished, and feeling good while you nurture your little one. Trust me, your body (and your milk supply!) will thank you!

How many times a day do you drink it??
