Kinder bueno ice cream

I made Kinder Bueno Cocoa Nib Ice cream. I forgot to get chocolate chips at the grocery store and just found that I could just try cocoa nibs to see if it would be tasty, and it actually came out quite tasty! My boyfriend and I ate all of it 😳😆 so clearly it was quite tasty! I didn’t put as much as I would put actually chocolate chips like 1/4 a cup and the bitterness really made the sweet sweet ice cream and kinder Bruno chunks balanced in flavor! The next time I do it, I would like to try with chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla bean to see if it changes the game but I’m excited to be experimenting with different flavors this summer!

I recently whipped up a batch, and it quickly became my new favorite summer treat. The best part? You get to control all the delicious elements. I started with a creamy vanilla bean ice cream base – you can use store-bought or your favorite homemade recipe, even a simple no-churn one works wonders! The real game-changer for me was adding dark cocoa nibs. I was out of chocolate chips, but this accidental swap turned into a stroke of genius! Those slightly bitter, crunchy cocoa nibs cut through the sweetness of the Kinder Bueno chocolate bars and the rich, creamy filling, creating a perfectly balanced flavor profile that's just divine. It really makes every spoonful exciting, preventing it from being overly sweet. The textural contrast is amazing too – you get the smoothness of the ice cream, the crunch of the nibs, and the melt-in-your-mouth Kinder Bueno pieces. Speaking of Kinder Bueno, don't skimp on those delicious chocolate bars! I broke them into generous chunks so you get that signature hazelnut cream filling in every bite. It’s that unique hazelnut praline flavor that truly elevates this ice cream beyond just a regular chocolate chip version. If you love the crisp wafer and luscious filling of a Kinder Bueno, imagine that suspended in cold, creamy goodness – pure bliss! I've been thinking about trying a chocolate ice cream base next time to see if it deepens the chocolate flavor even further, but the vanilla bean really lets the Kinder Bueno shine. For those looking to experiment, you could also swirl in some hazelnut spread or a touch of coffee extract for a 'Kinder Bueno coffee' twist. And for serving, a simple scoop in an ice cream cup, topped with a few extra Kinder Bueno pieces and a sprinkle of those wonderful dark cocoa nibs, makes for a dessert that looks as good as it tastes. It's truly a gourmet frozen dessert experience right from your kitchen, and honestly, it blows any store-bought version out of the water!
