Bob haircut?
✨OKAY! First off I’ve always had my hair LOOOONG! So, cutting it was not ideal however, I’ve been dying and straightening my hair since the 7th grade!! I think I’ve only ever cut my hair once in between that period and I was “going through something.”
✨ANYWAYS my hair has been damaged but I’ve refused to cut it until about a month ago! I’m in my mid 30’s and I’m hating how my “natural” curls are non existent! SO I decided F it I’m cutting it off and staring over…. It’s just hair right?
✨WELL I must say I’m not as upset as I thought I would be! For the first time in YEARS I’ve seen my natural curl definition and I’ve never been so happy! So should everyone cut their hair? No! But if you’re contemplating a new look or just to simply start over like me I say go for it ‼️

I've always been someone who values hair health, especially after years of dyeing and straightening left my long locks severely damaged. When I finally decided to cut my hair into a bob, I was hesitant but hopeful. What surprised me the most was how the bob haircut revealed my natural curls that I thought were gone forever. It felt like I was meeting my hair for the first time in years. Switching to a bob not only made styling easier but also encouraged me to treat my hair with more care, soaking it in moisture and refraining from harsh chemical treatments. If you’re struggling with the frustration of damaged hair and unnoticeable curls, taking the leap to cut your hair short might be exactly what your hair needs to revive its natural texture. The bob is versatile—whether you have curly, wavy, or straight hair, this haircut can be tailored to suit your face shape and hair type. It's a bold but rewarding step towards healthier hair. Remember, it’s not just a haircut; it’s a fresh start. Seeing my curls bounce back gave me a confidence boost I hadn’t felt in years. If you’re considering a bob haircut, especially if your hair is damaged like mine was, take the plunge. It’s just hair—it grows back! And along the way, you might rediscover a hairstyle that not only looks amazing but feels like a true expression of yourself.
