Everyone is a Reader 🥰

Nowadays, there are too many rules on what makes you a reader or not. The reality is, there are no rules on what makes you a reader. If you like doing something, that’s all that matters. Enjoy every moment and don’t let anyone take that away from you. 🫶🏽 #reading📖 #readers #read #readingquotes #reading📚

4/28 Edited to

... Read moreReading is such a personal and evolving journey, and one of the most comforting realizations I've had over time is that there truly are no rules to being a reader. Whether you take months to finish a book or go through several in a week, you're still part of the wonderful community of readers. I used to feel pressured to keep up with readathons or have perfectly color-coded annotations, but I soon realized that reading is meant to be a joy, not a competition. What really matters is the connection you feel with the stories and knowledge you consume. Sometimes I revisit a book I read years ago and find new meanings, and other times a BookTok recommendation sparks a newfound enthusiasm in me. There’s no wrong way to enjoy reading — it doesn't matter how you engage with books or how frequently you pick them up. The key is to honor your own pace and preferences. I also appreciate reminders like "You’re still a reader even if you haven’t read anything in a while" because life gets busy and that’s okay. Reading can be a lifelong companion that’s always there when you’re ready. So don’t worry about fancy systems or trends; if you love reading, you are a reader. Embrace your unique journey and savor every page in your own time. It’s freedom like this that makes reading so fulfilling and enriching.
