I recently assembled a similar setup inspired by affordable Walmart finds, and it turned my backyard into the ultimate spot for relaxation and entertainment. Starting with a Bestway Steel Ozark Trail Pro Frame Pool priced at about $59, I found it perfect for cooling off during hot days, especially for the kids. Adding two folding lawn chairs, which were around $30, gave us comfortable seating options. I especially loved the outdoor rug and decor pieces, such as string lights and lanterns, which brought a cozy ambiance at night. The string lights were charming, giving the space a magical glow for evening hangouts. For movie nights, I invested in a Vankyo projector and a portable screen, along with snacks organized neatly on an outdoor drink and snack station. This setup allowed us to enjoy staycation vibes with intimate date nights or fun family movie evenings. What surprised me the most was how all these items combined only cost just under $100, making it an affordable way to upgrade your backyard. You don’t need to go out or pay expensive fees for entertainment when you can bring everything home. The key is selecting multi-use items that enhance both comfort and fun, all while keeping things budget-friendly. If you’re thinking about creating your own backyard oasis, consider starting with these basics: a pool to cool off, comfy chairs, mood lighting like candles or string lights, and an outdoor movie setup.
