ATV STONE ISLAND
Join in on an ATV ride on the sand at Stone Island, in Mazatlan with me and my daughter!
If you're planning a trip to Mazatlan and looking for an unforgettable adventure, you absolutely have to put an ATV ride on Stone Island on your itinerary! My daughter and I recently had the most exhilarating time tearing up the sandy beaches, and it was truly a highlight of our vacation. Getting to Stone Island (Isla de la Piedra) itself is part of the charm. From Mazatlan, you can easily catch a short, inexpensive water taxi from the pier near El Faro. It’s a quick and scenic ride across the harbor, setting the perfect mood for an island escape. Once you arrive, you’ll immediately feel the laid-back, rustic vibe – a wonderful contrast to the bustling city. The main draw for us was definitely the ATV experience. As soon as we stepped off the boat, we saw several rental spots offering ATV tours right on the beach. We opted for a guided tour, which I highly recommend, especially if it's your first time or if you're with family. The guides are fantastic, ensuring everyone stays safe while still having maximum fun. Helmets are always provided and mandatory, which gave me peace of mind. Riding the ATVs on the soft, expansive sands of Stone Island Mazatlan was an absolute blast. We zoomed along the coastline, feeling the ocean breeze and admiring the stunning views of the Pacific. The freedom of cruising on the sand, with palm trees swaying and the waves crashing nearby, was simply incredible. We even got to explore some of the more secluded parts of the beach, making for some fantastic photo opportunities. It's a truly unique way to experience the natural beauty of the island. Beyond the thrilling ATV adventure, Stone Island offers so much more. After our ride, we cooled off with a swim in the calm, warm waters. The main beach area has plenty of palapa restaurants serving up fresh, delicious seafood – think giant shrimp, fresh ceviche, and grilled fish, all at very reasonable prices. It's the perfect spot to relax, grab a cold drink, and soak in the sunshine. You can also find opportunities for horseback riding along the beach, which looked equally enchanting. For families, Stone Island is ideal. The atmosphere is relaxed, the beaches are safe, and there are activities for all ages. My daughter absolutely loved every minute, from the ferry ride over to the adrenaline rush of the ATVs. It’s a place where you can truly unplug and create lasting memories. So, if you're looking for an adventure that combines excitement, natural beauty, and a taste of local charm, don't miss out on an ATV ride on Stone Island Mazatlan. It's an experience I won't soon forget, and I'm already dreaming of our next visit! Highly recommend for anyone seeking an active and fun day trip.
