"AwakenRise"
Yelling, hooping, and hollering in religion does not mean someone is enlightened or has more faith than the next person.
Sometimes the loudest expressions come from people who are still blinded and unaware of who they truly are.
True awakening is not about performance, volume, or emotional display.
It is about awareness, self-knowledge, and understanding your own spirit and truth.
When you know who you are, you don’t need to prove it to anyone.
In my experience, many people confuse outward displays of emotion and intensity with genuine spiritual growth. I've seen groups where yelling and dramatic expressions are mistaken for deep faith or enlightenment, but often these are compensations for inner confusion or unacknowledged struggles. True awakening, however, is much quieter and more profound. It's more about the stillness that grows inside you, the clarity you gain as you get to know your true self. This realization often comes after much reflection and sometimes after stepping back from noisy, performative settings. When I began focusing on mindfulness and self-inquiry, I noticed a shift in how I related to spirituality. It wasn’t about proving anything to others or being seen as more faithful; it was about understanding my own spirit and embracing my authentic truth. This inner work fosters lasting peace and confidence that doesn’t require outward validation. Additionally, embracing this perspective helps avoid the trap of superficial religious competitiveness, where the loudest or most emotional feels 'more spiritual.' Instead, it encourages us to appreciate quiet moments, deep listening, and gentle awareness—as these cultivate genuine self-knowledge and connection to the divine or our highest selves. Ultimately, when you truly know who you are, you no longer need to perform or seek approval, allowing your spirit to shine naturally and peacefully.
