A world of color
This was my very first watercolor painting, took time to get use to the medium but I love it! Just having fun experimenting, I was very happy with the end results on this one and I have it framed up in my art studio. I love color and I like to experiment with color, color makes me happy, I feel it does the same for others as well. In a world full of hate, there’s also a light full of joy and never ending happiness. ❤️
Starting out with watercolor painting can be both exciting and a bit challenging, but it’s an incredibly rewarding creative outlet. When I began, I struggled with the fluidity and unpredictability of the medium, but gradually I learned how to control my brush and water ratio. One tip I found useful was to use good quality watercolor paper and brushes specifically designed for watercolors—it really makes a difference in how the paint behaves. Experimenting with colors was the highlight for me. Mixing unexpected shades and watching them blend on paper brought a sense of discovery and playfulness that I had not experienced before. Over time, I realized that color is not just a visual element but a mood lifter. Bright, bold colors can inspire happiness and energy, while softer tones can bring calm and peace. Framing the finished piece in my art studio gave me a great sense of accomplishment. It reminded me daily that art is a refuge and a source of joy, especially in times when the world feels heavy. If you’re considering exploring watercolor, don’t worry about perfection—focus on enjoying the process. The imperfections and surprises along the way are what make your artwork unique and full of character. Lastly, incorporating art into your daily routine can be a wonderful way to reduce stress and boost creativity. Even simple color experiments can brighten your mood and create a personal space of happiness. So pick up those paints, embrace the joy of watercolor, and let the colors tell your story.
