so we have this kind of a café at church where people come in before and after service to fellowship and I love it because it's everybody from the old timers to the young kids new people to the church elders everybody gathers in there and serving in there has been such a blessing to me to meet people and to really fellowship with other Christians

Try and surround myself with mostly Christian people and not because they're better than other people but because I need to keep sober and the way I keep sober as by keeping my Christian principles going by keeping God in control I wanna hang around people that are not Christians. I tend to slip into always so what are your reasons for hanging out with Christians or not hanging out with Christians for that matter

... Read moreSpending time with Christians has a transformative effect on my daily life, offering a unique sense of belonging and encouragement that’s hard to find elsewhere. I’ve noticed that regularly engaging with a community that shares my faith helps me stay grounded in my values, especially during challenging times. One of the most meaningful experiences has been attending casual fellowship gatherings, like the church café where people from different generations come together before and after services. It’s a wonderful place to not only enjoy good conversation but also to find encouragement and accountability from others who are walking similar faith journeys. Moreover, participating in group activities such as worship sessions, Bible studies, and community service projects has helped me grow both spiritually and personally. These moments foster deep connections and inspire me to live out my beliefs in practical ways. For example, working alongside others on local outreach initiatives has revealed the power of collective action in making a positive impact. What I appreciate the most about hanging out with Christians is the safe space it creates for honest conversations about faith, doubts, and life challenges without fear of judgment. It’s refreshing to know I’m not alone and that there are people who genuinely care and support each other. Personally, surrounding myself with fellow believers helps me maintain sobriety and align my daily actions with Christian principles, providing strength and clarity in everyday decisions. If you’re seeking a supportive and vibrant community, I encourage you to seek out local Christian groups or church events. The friendships and spiritual growth that come from these connections can truly be a game changer. How do you like to spend time with fellow Christians, and what benefits have you found? Let’s share and learn from each other’s experiences.
