I know they recommend a basic watch for nursing school but my Apple Watch has just been that girl through school and work. You can always find something to jazz it up physically, but the possibilities when it comes to using it for healthcare are endless. Love using my watch for clinical!!!
🫡Military time…get used to it! Hospitals run 24/7, 365 so it only makes sense that they use military time when it comes to charting and documenting in healthcare. Once you learn how to read it you make never go back to the 12h style.
🕥”Medtimer" has become an everyday essential for my watch, especially when working and doing vital rounds and initial assessment upon intake. It counts R/R and HR if you have to do if manual and use a clock.
🟰➗✖️The calculator comes in handy for drip rate calculations or dosage calculations instead of pulling out my phone in front of the pt (some will mistake you being on the phone and think it's rude. Of course communication always helps too).
