is this an adhd thing?
I used to beat myself up constantly. Like, why can’t I remember a simple appointment? Why do I get hyper-obsessed with a new hobby for two weeks then never touch it again? Why does folding laundry drain me for the rest of the day?
When I finally learned those were ADHD traits, it was like someone handed me a permission slip. Suddenly, it wasn’t a moral failing!! It wasn’t proof that I was irresponsible or lazy. It was my wiring. That shift let me stop blaming myself so harshly and start asking, “okay, how can I work with this brain instead of against it?”
💬I'd love to know: What’s the most random thing you realized was an ADHD trait?

For me, it was realizing that my 'random' thoughts and tangents in conversation weren't me being annoying, but my brain trying to connect information. It's still a struggle to stay on topic sometimes, but knowing it's a neurotype thing helps a lot!
