... Read moreLiving through challenging times, I’ve often found myself wrestling with fear and uncertainty, much like many others. What has sustained me through those moments is the profound understanding that courage is not the absence of fear but the strength to keep moving forward despite it. The verse from Joshua 1:9, "Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go," has been a constant source of comfort and motivation. Each time I faced an unknown or difficult path, I reminded myself that God’s presence was constant, even if I couldn’t see it. This assurance transformed my approach to challenges; instead of succumbing to doubt, I leaned into my faith. This presence gives a unique kind of bravery — one that lifts us when we stumble and encourages us to persist even when the way seems steep or unclear. In practical daily life, embracing this perspective helps when confronting fears related to change, whether it’s starting a new job, moving to a different city, or navigating personal struggles. Remembering that divine support walks alongside us diminishes insecurity and invites peace in the midst of turmoil. True courage, influenced by faith, recalibrates our mindset from self-reliance to reliance on something greater. It allows us to face what scares us with hope and reassurance. Through personal experience, I've learned that this isn’t about avoiding fear altogether but about having the faith to move forward courageously, knowing we are never alone.
