¿Cuántas veces nos hemos encontrado ante una escalera aparentemente interminable? Miramos hacia arriba, vemos la luz lejana al final del túnel, pero el camino entre donde estamos y donde queremos estar parece oscuro e incierto. Los seres humanos tenemos una necesidad imperiosa de ver el mapa completo, de saber qué viene después del siguiente giro, de tener garantÃas antes de actuar. Pero la fe no funciona asÃ.
La fe no es tener una linterna que ilumine todo el horizonte; es tener una lámpara que ilumine solo el lugar donde estás a punto de pisar. Dios a menudo no nos muestra el destino final para que aprendamos a depender de Él en cada paso. Si lo supiéramos todo, confiarÃamos en nuestra propia inteligencia, no en la guÃa del Padre.
Cada paso dado en la oscuridad, pero basado en Su Palabra, es una victoria sobre el miedo. Es comprender que la seguridad no reside en que el camino sea plano o visible, sino en Quién sostiene la escalera. Si sientes que estás en un momento muy difÃcil, no intentes saltarte pasos. Simplemente da el siguiente paso hoy. El mañana ya está en manos de Dios.

Yet, when I entrusted the 'tomorrow' to God and concentrated on what I could do today, peace and confidence grew. Don't rush or skip steps; instead, hold onto the hope that the ladder you climb is supported, and the light shines where you need it most right now.
