「フィグの香り」って一口に言っても、実は“青っぽさ（葉っぱ）”寄りなのか、“果実の甘さ”寄りなのかで印象が結構変わります。My Laundryのフィグは、香りのピラミッドで見るとトップにフィグリーフ、ミドルにフィグフルーツ＋ココナッツ、ラストにウッディ＋バニラ。私はこの構成を知ってから嗅ぐと「最初はみずみずしいグリーン感→だんだん甘さが出て→最後に落ち着いた余韻」という流れが分かりやすくて、香りを楽しむ満足度が上がりました。 フィグリーフ（いちじくの葉）の香りは、フルーツそのものの甘さよりも、少し青くて爽やか・上品な雰囲気に感じやすい印象。甘い香りが得意じゃない人でも、トップのグリーン感があると「意外と使いやすい」となりやすいと思います。逆に“甘めのフィグ”を期待している人は、乾いた後のミドル〜ベース（ココナッツ、バニラ、ウッディ）まで待つと「これこれ！」となりやすいかも。 香りをきれいに残したい時に私が意識しているのは3つ。①入れすぎない（量が多いと香りが重くなって、フィグリーフの上品さが消えがち）。②すすぎ設定は普段通りでOKだけど、香りを強くしたくて“すすぎを減らす”のはニオイ残りが怖いので避ける。③干す場所は風通し優先。生乾き臭が出ると、せっかくのウッディ＆バニラの余韻も台無しになりやすいです。 あと、服の素材でも香り方が変わりました。タオルやスウェットみたいな厚手はふんわり甘さが残りやすく、シャツ系はフィグリーフの爽やかさが立ちやすい印象。家族で好みが分かれる場合は、まずはタオルや寝具に使うと“万人受け”しやすい気がします。 赤ちゃん衣類にも使える設計＆ノンシリコンという点は、香りだけじゃなく使い心地面でも安心材料。私は「強すぎない上品さ」と「乾いた後もほんのり続く感じ」が好みだったので、フィグ系柔軟剤を探している人は一度試してみる価値ありだと思います。
