When life gets difficult and we face situations that we honestly never thought we would be in, it is so easy to become discouraged.
I’ve come to believe that leaning into discouragement can be a tool the enemy uses because he wants us to feel defeated and hopeless. He wants us to feel alone and begin questioning God. He wants us to feel so isolated as if God is not with us.
When we come to this place of discouragement, a storm of distrust begins to hit us. We begin wanting to take situations into our own hands instead of leaving it in God’s hands.
I don’t know who you are, I don’t know your name and I may not know what you are going through.
But what I do know is that God is not finished with you. God is just getting started.
So if there is a heart beating in your chest and breath in your lungs just know God is working, this situation is not hopeless, God can turn it all around for your good and His glory.
Friend, don’t give up, don’t let go of your relationship with God.

It's so easy to get caught up in feelings of hopelessness, especially when we're facing challenges that seem insurmountable. We often pray for healing, not just physically, but for our weary souls that ache from disappointment and stress.
In those moments, I've found immense comfort in remembering that God's love and 'measureless grace' are always available. It's not about pretending everything is okay, but about truly believing that He is with us, even when we feel completely alone. When my mind races with 'cares and anxieties,' I try to recall those powerful verses that remind me to 'Leave all your cares and anxieties at the feet of the Lord.' It's a conscious act of surrender, trusting that He will provide the 'strength and power' I need to carry on. This isn't just a one-time thing; it's a daily practice of releasing what I can't control and letting faith take over.
Sometimes, the biggest battle is within, battling those thoughts that tell us to give up. But the Bible assures us, 'My life's hope and trust is in you, and you'll never fail to rescue me!' This isn't just a hopeful statement; it’s a promise. When I read that, it helps me to 'Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God.' It's a reminder to pause, breathe, and let God handle what I cannot. I've personally experienced how powerful it is to just be still and let His presence fill the space where worry used to be.
For anyone struggling with discouragement or even the early signs of anxiety, remember the encouraging words: 'Don't be discouraged; don't be disturbed, for I fully expect my Savior-God to break through for me.' This perspective shifts everything. It moves us from a place of despair to one of expectant hope. We don't have to carry the weight alone; 'The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side!' It truly feels like having an unseen army fighting for you.
I've learned that truly leaning into faith means acknowledging our weakness and allowing God's 'strength and power' to flow through us. It's about letting go of control and trusting His perfect timing and plan, even when it makes no sense to us. Taking a few moments each day to reread these scriptures, or even just one, can make a huge difference in your mindset. It’s a spiritual anchor in a stormy sea. So, if you're struggling today, know that you're not alone. Keep seeking His word, keep praying for that deep healing—whether it's for your heart, your mind, or your circumstances—and hold onto the promise that He is working all things for your good. He is not finished with you yet, and there's always a reason to praise Him again, even amidst the waiting.
Amen 🙏 im doing my best to hold on to his promises but it seems like help is never gonna happen for me im old and very hurt from things that happen in my life and still going on
