Let’s move on, shall we?

January was truly a whirlwind—a month that moved both quickly and painfully slow in its own way. From unexpected challenges like a car wreck and illness to emotional storms that brought plenty of tears, it was a period of intense learning and adaptation. I found myself relying heavily on simple joys like cooking, thrifting, and creating art to nourish my spirit amid the chaos. One unexpected outcome was gaining some weight—a reminder to be gentle with myself rather than adding pressure. What stood out most was a deep sense of gratitude for the basic necessities and stability that can so easily be taken for granted. Facing these hurdles helped me realize that control is often an illusion, and true strength lies in how we respond to life’s unpredictability.
