For example, instead of installing separate aircon units for each room, pairing two or even three rooms to a single condenser, like an 18,000 or 24,000 Btu unit, can effectively cool multiple spaces while freeing up ledge space. This approach not only reduces installation costs but also helps in maintaining a cleaner and more streamlined exterior. However, it's important to consider the actual size and airflow requirements of your rooms. A single 24,000 Btu unit is often enough to support one to three rooms, depending on room dimensions and usage. Consulting with your aircon provider and checking showroom setups, like the ones I’ve seen, can help you understand the power capacities and configurations that work best. Also, making sure the ledge design complies with HDB regulations is a must to avoid complications during installation. Proper planning early on lets you enjoy efficient cooling and a clutter-free ledge, making your new BTO home comfortable and practical.
