Walking In Faith ✨
I’ve been in a battle with almost every around me lately. The push and pull have been so strong, but I’m not weak!
I am a proud Christian and the enemy have been sending challenges my way to test my faith. Let me explain…
I’ve been in a relationship for over a year now and it’s been going so well. It’s really been a peaceful and enjoyable relationship. We worship the Lord together, support each other and boost each other up. I’ve been taking a lot more pictures lately and sharing because of how confident my boyfriend makes me feel… it’s resulted in unwanted attention and temptation. Not temptation as in I’m interested.. more so like I want people to keep complimenting me. I talked to my boyfriend about it and he said that if I want to post pictures then post and don’t worry about what people DM or comment.
Along with posting more, results in being shamed for sharing my faith. I’m a firm believer in unfollowing people that don’t align with your values or beliefs. Why look at post that makes me uncomfortable? So I understand that people will unfollow me if they don’t agree or care for me praising the Lord, but why DM me? Why send DMs calling me a hypocrite or saying I was cuter before I got all ‘Christian-y’… You could just unfollow and go about your day. But after talking with a coworker that’s older and have been in his walk with God longer. He told me, “Take it as a compliment that the enemy is noticing how strong your faith is becoming!” And that was the mindset shift I knew was needed.
I could go on and on and some of these things you may not think is that deep, but it is an eye opener for me. It shows me that I’m doing the good work to walk in faith. I’m no longer a lukewarm Christian and that I’m reaching new heights in my life of Christ 🙏🏼

I find more and more people suck. If they are miserable, they want company, so they try to make those around them miserable. Like you, I am a child of Christ ..born and raised. Temptation is always going to be there in one form or another. It takes a stronger will to stand strong & I have no doubt that you have it
