Sampling a delicious pizza right by the water, with the city lights reflecting on the bay, felt like a dream. While parking can be tricky in some of these charming, winding streets – I definitely spotted a few 'NO PARKING' signs – the joy of navigating them on foot, discovering little squares and hidden gems, is part of the experience. It feels very much like a local's Naples, peaceful yet full of life, making it a truly family-friendly area to explore after dark. Both the Lungomare waterfront and Vomero streets contribute to that unique feeling of being 'at home' in Naples, even as a visitor. The city truly comes alive in the evening, offering a blend of vibrant energy and moments of peaceful tranquility.
