My review of Free Fall(book one) by Leta Blake

I wasn’t ready for this book. First of all, I LOVED all the Korean love. Since becoming a Kdrama junkie, Korea has become one of my favorite countries and this book just made me love it more.

Second, a Korean lead? Yes, please! I kept picturing my baby Cha Eun-woo as Sejin and oh my, what a pretty picture 🥵

I know many people didn’t like Dan much, but honestly? I did. He was raw and complex and just lived his life on his own terms and that rubbed people the wrong way. Did he come off as a jerk? Sure. But he never hid his feelings and that makes him genuine in my books.

Sejin was exactly the right sweetness and sunshine Dan needed in his life. When they were together, Dan was a completely different person. A better version of himself that he didn’t even know he had.

The fact that Dan was so eager to get Sejin to smile at him the right way just warmed my heart. Once he got that smile it’s like a whole new world opened up for him. And that was my favorite part of this story, especially when Dan had made a bad decision but just knew he couldn’t go through with it.

The cliffhanger has me on the edge of my seat so I’m just gonna go and listen to book two because I need to know what happens next!
