My wedding set!

Even after 12 years, I still love my wedding set! It always looks so good after I clean it! The center stone is from the early 1900's and old mine cut. The setting is from the 1920's. I told him I wanted a vintage style princess cut solitaire with accents and he went and got a vintage ring that is basically the predecessor to the princess cut! #weddingring #vintage #engagementrings

The old mine cut diamond, characterized by its unique, vintage facets, offers a soft glow that modern cuts may lack. Vintage designs are not just about aesthetics—they tell a story. The process of selecting a ring from a particular era, like the 1920s, can lead to discovering unique features and settings that have become increasingly rare in today’s market. With styles inspired by the Art Deco movement, vintage rings often feature geometric designs and intricate metalwork, making each piece remarkable and one-of-a-kind. Collecting vintage jewelry can also be a sustainable choice, as it encourages reusing and appreciating existing pieces rather than buying mass-produced alternatives. Additionally, many couples now seek rings that express individuality and a personal connection to history, making vintage or heirloom pieces an ideal choice for those who value unique aesthetics. Whether panning for the perfect vintage engagement ring or choosing a timeless wedding band, these pieces can reflect personal style while honoring the craft and artistry of the past. Furthermore, caring for these pieces ensures they continue to shine and tell their stories for generations to come.
