Friday the 13th the game Jason part III
Hey fellow horror fans! You know that rush you get when you load into Friday the 13th: The Game and see you're playing as Jason? There’s nothing quite like it, especially when you get to wield the iconic Part 3 version. I’ve spent countless hours terrorizing counselors, and let me tell you, Jason Part 3 is a force to be reckoned with if you know how to use him! First off, let’s talk about what makes Part 3 Jason stand out. He’s got some unique stats that truly define his playstyle: +Traps: This is HUGE. More traps mean more control over objectives. I love using these around phone boxes, car parts, or boat parts. +Weapon Strength: Your attacks hit harder, which is fantastic for quickly downing counselors. It feels so satisfying! -Can Run: Yep, this is his biggest drawback. You'll be walking, not sprinting. This means your Shift ability becomes even more crucial for closing gaps. -Stun Resistance: Counselors can stun you a bit more easily, so be mindful of those baseball bats and fire pokers! When I play as Part 3 Jason, my strategy usually revolves around early map control and relentless pressure. With those extra traps, I immediately head to key objectives – phone box, cars, or the boat – and lay down my traps. This forces counselors to either disarm them (making noise/taking damage) or find alternative routes, buying me precious time. Because you can't run, mastering your 'Shift' ability is paramount. Learn when to use it to surprise counselors, cut off escape routes, or cover large distances quickly. Don't waste it! Now, if you're a counselor facing off against Part 3 Jason, you need to adapt. His lack of running means he's slower on foot, so use that to your advantage in open areas. However, his strong weapon damage means you CANNOT afford to get hit often. Focus on stunning him, especially when he's trying to break down doors or attack a teammate. And remember those extra traps? Always, ALWAYS be aware of your surroundings, especially near objectives like the phone box or the boat. I've seen too many counselors fall victim to a well-placed trap near Higgins Haven's boat! Working together, communicating, and utilizing high-stun weapons like the baseball bat are your best bets. Keep an eye on the map; if he's not running, you might have a precious few seconds more to react. Mastering Jason Part 3, whether you're playing as him or against him, adds a whole new layer of strategy to the game. It’s all about leveraging his unique strengths and adapting to his weaknesses. Give him a try, and let me know your favorite Part 3 Jason moments!
