when i booked my flight to HCM, I decided I wanted to do new glasses while exploring the city and ended up at the cutest🫶🏻 little optical shop, DELINA! 🤍🏪👀
I firstly request to get my prescription done 🔍👁️ because I could feel something off about my current spectacles was and the best part… the eye test was FREE 💰✨ love that!! 🫶🏻😘
the staff👧🏻 she was super friendly and patient 🥹💗 they explained everything step by step and she could speak simple english, so communicating was actually really easy even though we didn’t speak the same language perfectly 🌏🗣️ it made the whole experience super comfortable and chill ✨
then came the hardest part… choosing the frames 😭 there were so many styles to choose from 👓🕶️🤓 classic ones, trendy ones, colourful ones… i think i tried on way too many before finally picking the one 💫
after that they helped me choose the lenses depending on my degree and needs 🔎✨ and did the final fitting to make sure everything sat nicely and comfortably 💕👓
also something that really surprised me, the speed ⏱️😳
i went to the shop at around 11am in the morning, and the staff texted me at about 5pm the same day to tell me that my glasses were already ready 🤯✨ literally same-day glasses!!
Now comes the most important thing, the PRICE! The total I paid was only about 202 SGD 💰👓 which is honestly such a steal because in Singapore it usually costs around 500–600 SGD, especially since my eye degree is quite high 🥲
Overall, such a fun and smooth experience and now i have new specs to remember ho chi minh by 🥹🇻🇳✨
