the ultimate home statement piece ✨
it has been a tradition in every place we’ve lived that we paint a wall mural together. so ofcourse, day 1 in our new home we started to brainstorm. it took some time to figure out what exactly we wanted and what would fit this new space we were creating together.
we knew it would be orange and organic and tbh, i am not the most artistic person so my drawing capabilities are limited. alex is an amazing painter and color selection was key here 🩷🧡
i ended up freehanding the shapes and we are so happy with the result 🌟 this was the very first thing we did in our home, and it set the stage for direction and for everything around it.
since it is so bold & bright, the furniture around it needed to be a little more neutral, so we went with a white cloud couch. love lots of color, but it’s all about balance.
it makes me smile when i look at it, especially knowing we created it together 💕 it’s a great conversation piece for anyone who walks through the door and adds a bright pop of fun to the room!
