My Beach Style: Capsule Wardrobe Edition
Having a small beach capsule has saved me so much packing time when I'm out for the day in NYC. Instead of overthinking what to wear, these 3 outfits rotate depending on where the day goes.
outfit 1 is for the days I'm posted up reading in the shade more than swimming. My base is this striped linen set from Aerie, I paired it with my Tory Burch bucket bag that actually fits a book and a water bottle for the day.
outfit 2 is my cover-up situation for going from the train straight to the water. My base starts with linen drawstring pants from Aerie thrown over my bikini, with a gauze button-up from Calzedonia open over the top. Pair with woven slides and you can walk from the street to the sand without changing!
outfit 3 is the one I save for beach club days or a nice girls dinner after. I wore my favorite black one-piece from Aerie as a top with white linen wide-leg pants also from Aerie, my sandals, and a straw market tote that i'm honestly obsessed with. Wearing a one-piece as a top means I can go from the beach to dinner in Brooklyn without changing.
