wtf is corpcore 👔 my WFH outfits are way more fun 🪩

My style is fun, comfy, and built for working from home. No stiff blazers, no pencil skirts, none of that corpcore stuff.

My base is usually a soft ribbed tee from AG with something roomy on the bottom, white Gap jorts, long denim shorts, or slouchy barrel pants from Gap.

Comfortable enough to sit in all day, but none of it reads as sloppy.

The fun comes from the one piece I add. A suede & Other Stories bag in olive. The black woven Marc Fisher mary janes. A chunky silver belt buckle. Those are what make a comfy WFH outfit feel like an actual look instead of pajamas. Way more me than anything corpcore.

whats your favorite fun piece to throw on even when you're just home all day?

... Read moreCorpcore is a rising fashion trend that draws inspiration from conventional corporate office wear—think blazers, pencil skirts, and structured silhouettes. While it aims for a polished, business-like aesthetic, it often feels too rigid or formal, especially for those embracing remote work. Working from home has reshaped how many of us think about style. Instead of stiff, traditional office clothing, I opt for pieces that blend comfort with personality. For me, that means soft ribbed tees, roomy bottoms like Gap’s white jorts or barrel pants, and subtle but distinct accessories to elevate the look. A suede & Other Stories olive bag, black woven Mary Janes, and chunky silver belt buckle bring a unique charm that makes the outfit feel intentional rather than thrown together. These choices allow me to stay comfortable throughout the day—perfect for long hours at my desk—without sacrificing style. The key is to pick items that feel good against the skin and move with you, yet don’t read as lounge or sleepwear. Adding a single fun, statement piece can transform a simple outfit into something special. In my experience, curating a work-from-home wardrobe that leans into comfort but still looks put-together helps maintain a productive mindset. When your outfit resonates with your personal style, it adds a little fun to daily routines and fosters confidence. Whether you favor minimal looks or bolder accents, the goal is to feel good while working. If you’re wondering how to avoid corpcore’s stiffness but still want to appear professional during video calls, consider versatile items like relaxed denim shorts or slouchy pants paired with quality tops and unique accessories. This approach keeps your look modern, approachable, and, most importantly, authentic to you. What’s your go-to fun piece that instantly upgrades your WFH outfit? Share your thoughts—there’s no gatekeeping when it comes to personal style!
