How to be a stalker.
Okay, I work with some incredible individuals at my current job and I want to surprise them for Christmas. I need to budget there for I need to start now.
There are 8 people I need to buy for I like the stuffed Stanley idea but I can only think of one person on this list that would utilize a Stanley. So I figure I’d switch to mugs since there is a coffee bar in our office. I just don’t know what to put into the mugs since I don’t what they like.
How do I find out without them catching on or coming across as weird.
Finding the right balance between being thoughtful and not overstepping boundaries can be tricky when selecting Christmas gifts for coworkers. Here are some effective strategies you might consider: 1. **Casual Conversations:** Engage in light conversations about hobbies, favorite drinks, or weekend plans. This can help you gather clues about their preferences without drawing attention. 2. **Social Media Stalking:** If it's appropriate and comfortable, look at their social media profiles to gain insights into their interests and tastes. 3. **Team Activities:** Pay attention during team lunches or outings. Observe what they order or discuss; you can take mental notes for gift ideas. 4. **Gift Exchanges:** If your office is having a secret Santa or gift exchange, it's a great opportunity to find hints on what your coworkers might appreciate. 5. **Mug Fillers:** When it comes to the mug itself, consider adding thoughtful fillers like gourmet coffee, herbal teas, personalized notes, or small snacks. Additionally, themed mugs for specific interests can add a special touch. Remember, the thought behind the gift matters the most. Happy gifting!
