It wasn't a delicate, dewy rose; this was a bold, in-your-face kind of rose, clearly amplified by the sharp, juicy black currant and a hint of pink pepper that gave it a lively, almost sparkling edge. After about 45 minutes, as the initial intensity began to mellow, the magic really started to unfold. The fragrance transitioned beautifully into a soft, powdery rose. This is where the nutmeg and osmanthus in the middle notes truly shine.
