@10am upon initial spray, I get tea right off the bat, smells kind of like Earl Gray, a few after that, I start to pick up on a little bit of fruit
@11am I like the fragrance, I'm still getting some tea. It started out as a scent bubble, now, it's calmed down, and becoming more of a skin scent
@12pm THERE'S THE FRUIT! It's fabulous! To my nose, there isn't any "Synthetic"-ness to it. Is a complete skin scent now, the scent bubble burst.
@2pm has a very pleasant skin scent. I think would be a wonderful candle.
@4pm - FINAL UPDATE - I would say that this fragrance is a success. It is still there, 6+hrs on skin.
I'd buy a 10mL of this fragrance.

After spending some quality time with Commodity Ice(d) Expressive, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into what makes this fragrance a unique experience. While my initial hourly updates covered the scent's evolution, there's so much more to unpack for anyone considering adding this to their collection. First off, let's talk about sillage and projection. My review mentioned it calming down to a skin scent, which is true for its later stages. However, upon initial spray, this fragrance definitely creates a lovely, noticeable scent bubble. It's not an overpowering room-filler, but more of an inviting aura that lingers around you. This makes Commodity Ice(d) perfect for office environments, intimate gatherings, or simply when you want to enjoy your scent without announcing your presence from across the room. As it settles, it becomes a beautiful personal indulgence, something you catch wafts of throughout the day that brings a quiet joy. Now, about those notes – the journey is truly intriguing. The listed Spearmint and Eucalyptus really contribute to that 'iced' sensation, providing a crisp, almost invigorating freshness that beautifully complements the Frosted Mango. It’s not just a generic fruity scent; there's an aromatic, almost herbal coolness that elevates it. The initial tea-like quality I experienced was definitely a delightful surprise, adding a sophisticated twist before the fruitiness gently emerged. The base notes of Musk and Sandalwood anchor it all, preventing it from being too fleeting and giving it that wonderful longevity I observed. It’s a beautifully balanced composition that tells a story on your skin. When it comes to versatility, Commodity Ice(d) Expressive truly shines. My suggested occasions of Daily, Sport, and Leisure, along with Spring and Summer seasons, are spot on. Imagine wearing this on a sunny spring afternoon picnic, where the fresh and fruity notes blend perfectly with the blooming flowers. Or perhaps after a refreshing shower post-workout, where the 'iced' elements feel incredibly revitalizing. It's also an excellent choice for a casual brunch or a stroll through a farmer's market. Its 'modern' and 'feminine' appeal doesn't restrict it, however; anyone who enjoys fresh, slightly fruity, and elegantly clean scents could easily rock this. It has an effortless charm that suits a vibrant, easygoing personality. Speaking of the package, the simple, elegant design of the cylindrical fragrance sample or bottle for "Commodity Ice(d)" is quite appealing. It’s understated yet chic, which perfectly matches the vibe of the scent itself – sophisticated without being ostentatious. If you're on the fence, grabbing a sample size is definitely the way to go to experience its magic firsthand on your skin. That's how I truly fell for it! To maximize its 6+ hour longevity, I often apply it to pulse points like wrists and neck, and sometimes even a light spray on my clothes. While it performs well on its own, I've found it layers beautifully with unscented lotions or even a complementary body oil to give it an extra boost and make those delicious notes linger even longer. Overall, Commodity Ice(d) Expressive is more than just a fragrance; it’s an experience that evolves with you throughout the day, offering refreshing layers and a comforting finish. It’s a definite success for me, and I can see myself reaching for this often.
