When my Nana fell then got sick about 22 years ago, we had to hire sitters for her. She needed 24/7 care. One of these sitters was nice enough to teach me to sew by hand to make doll clothes. That has turned into me fixing many clothes and plushies for my kid. I'm so thankful she taught me this
