Lately it feels like every December comes with a new trend: Candy Shop Christmas, Old Vintage Christmas, Woodland Christmas, Pastel Christmas, Minimalist Christmas… and somewhere in there we kind of forget what Christmas actually feels like. The glow of lights in a dark room. The same ornaments you’ve unpacked every year since forever. The warmth, the comfort, the memories.
So here’s my little Christmas wish: Let’s make Christmas cozy again.
Let’s stop trying to out-decorate each other. Let’s stop turning the holidays into a competition. Let’s bring back the simple, homey magic — the kind you can’t buy, and you definitely can’t trend.

i’ve tried so hard to have the aesthetic christmas and it’s just not always attainable. this is my tree this year with half the lights missing🤣 and i don’t even care to fix it lol
