Grocery shopping with me!
This time, I am sharing my grocery shopping as a grad student.
I am about to start my clinical rotations as a 4th year pharmacy student, and I like to meal prep to save money and time during my day.
I went to the closest Aldi to get my favorite products. My total was ~$150 but that is only because I had to get some items that will last me probably 6 months to a year ngl (I did not include everything I bought in the pictures), however everytime I go my normal groceries cost me ~$50-70, which last me about 2 weeks if not more. Aldi is super convenient and budget friendly for college students. They have quality products with organic and gluten-free options.
Ps. comment if you want me to share my recipe from the first picture of a salmon bowl with salad and avocado.

Grocery shopping can be an overwhelming task, especially for students balancing tight budgets and busy schedules. Aldi emerges as a wonderful option for students, offering affordable grocery items that don’t compromise on quality. Known for its no-frills approach, Aldi provides a variety of organic and gluten-free products tailored to modern dietary preferences, making it easier for you to plan nutritious meals. Meal prepping is essential for busy grad students like myself who strive to manage their time efficiently. Preparing meals in advance not only saves money but also ensures that you have healthy options on hand, preventing last-minute takeout decisions. For a balanced diet, shop for staples such as whole grains (like basmati rice), fresh produce (such as cucumbers, avocados, and sweet potatoes), and quality proteins (like salmon and chicken). By choosing items that have a longer shelf life, such as dried grains and canned goods, you can maximize your grocery budget, reducing the frequency of shopping trips. It's great to keep an eye on the weekly specials and sales at Aldi to help you stick to your budget. Additionally, engaging with the community through platforms like Lemon8 can provide valuable insights and recipes from fellow students. If you’re interested in quick and delicious meal ideas, drop a comment! I’d love to share simple recipes, such as a nutritious salmon bowl that can easily be prepped for the week. With these practical tips, your grocery shopping experience can become not just efficient, but also enjoyable!

I would love the recipe for that salmon bowl!
